2008-09 Registration Information

  • There will be 2 seven week sessions, S1 is planned to run 12/5/08-2/1/09 and S2 will run 2/6/08-3/29/08 (planned to end before Little League begins).
  • Games are planned for  Saturday afternoons, 3-6 PM and Sunday afternoons, 3-6 PM depending on the age group - younger groups play earliest.
  • All players MUST wear a FAST Soccer reversible jersey, which can be purchased for $15 if you do not already own one from a prior year.
  • Registration:
    • Only done in-person at The Sports Place every Saturday and Sunday during Session 1 - see us at the door or ask for a form at the front desk.  (click here for directions)
    • Registration fees are $105 per player for each session, cash or check only.  
    • Session 1 players that sign up for Session 2, before January 18, 2009, will receive a $5.00 discount,  All registrations received after 1/26, are subject to a $20 late registration fee.
  • Team submission require 5 players and a coach, without a coach the team will not be formed.  All 5 team members must be submitted together at the time of registration.
  • If you like, you can submit your team from the local outdoor fall soccer league, just split it up into 2 teams, each with a coach.
  • Player requests are not guaranteed, but any player may request to be placed with one other player - but only that one other player!  Both of these player registrations and requests must be submitted at the same time; if not the request will not be honored.

In general, the following applies to any active session.

  • Coaches can apply as well, at no cost and no guarantee of acceptance.  League needs will prevail. 
  • All players will be insured as part of the registration fee. 
  • We will provide FAST Soccer balls, these are specially made soccer balls, please do not bring "regular" soccer balls to the games.
  • Youth Uniforms consist of:
    • a FAST reversible uniform shirt; these shirts are new this year and you only need purchase it once or when you need to change sizes. The cost of the shirt is $15.00 and is not included in the base registration fees, you pay this when you receive the jersey.
    • Black or dark shorts, Shin-guards, and long soccer socks.
    • Players must also wear sneakers or indoor soccer shoes with Laces; no slip-on footwear is allowed, cleats are allowed on turf surfaces. 
  • There are no practices, only games.

Refund Policy

  • If after you have registered you need or choose to withdraw before or during a session, please review the points in the refund policy.  Player refunds will be given according to the following guidelines:
    • If you intend to withdraw, you must email, call, or mail and provide us the session number, and the name, birth date, gender, and team of the child.
    • Any withdrawals received prior to the first scheduled game of the FSL session you intend to withdraw from result in full refund minus a 25% administration fee.
    • Any withdrawals received after the session has started but prior to the 3rd game are subject to a 50% fee adjustment.
    • There are no refunds for any withdrawal after the third scheduled game.
    • All refunds are determined on the the “Last Child” and "Last Session" concept.  If you are signed up for multiple family members and/or multiple sessions, the amount refunded is based upon the last child or last session amount. 
    • Upon receipt of your notice, we will send back a confirmation email ; if you do not receive confirmation within a few days assume we did not receive your notice and please contact us again.
    • Refunds will be processed by mail only. 

    • Please allow 4 weeks for delivery and only let us know if it does not arrive within that time frame.
